Wipro Launches an Automotive E-commerce Cloud Solution for Direct-to-Consumer Marketplaces to Launch and Grow Quickly

Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT, BSE: 507685, NSE: WIPRO), a leading global Information technology, consulting, and business process services company, today unveiled Click-Shift-Drive, a contactless car-buying solution that addresses the complete automobile-buying journey. Scalable, flexible and rapidly deployed, the end-to-end solution enables automakers and dealers to offer everything from research and loan approval to purchase and delivery at a time when 50% of car-buying journeys begin online.

Wipro’s Click-Shift-Drive empowers automakers and dealers to quickly adapt to the digital-first demands of the Millennial and Gen Z consumers taking over the car-buying market. With ClickShift-Drive, automakers and dealers can launch e-commerce solutions and provide a virtual direct-buying experience in just eight weeks. Click-Shift-Drive uniquely incorporates a range of Salesforce technologies so companies can provide an enhanced user experience throughout the customer journey. In addition, Wipro partnered with ThreeKit 3D & Augmented Reality to provide an augmented reality component so buyers can visualize a virtual rendering of the automobile in their own driveway.

Norton Motorcycles has announced the completion of its new global headquarters. The all-new facility houses state-of-the-art manufacturing capability and the company’s new global design and R&D hub. It forms a key part of Norton’s strategic growth plan on its journey to becoming the world-leader in luxury hand-crafted motorcycles.

The new HQ is a clear display of significant commitment by TVS Motor Company in its prosperous partnership with Norton Motorcycles. Within just 18 months of acquiring the iconic British marque, TVS Motor has overseen the creation of its world-class facility in Solihull, West Midlands, UK paving the way to design and produce an exciting new generation of motorcycles built with world-leading manufacturing standards

The new Norton leadership, together with TVS Motor Company, has conducted a wide-ranging review of Norton Motorcycles operations, resulting in new appointments and processes, specifically in engineering, design and manufacturing to ensure that the highest quality standards are met. The headquarters is creating over a hundred of new high-skilled jobs (and more in upcoming years) and will be able to build around 8,000 motorcycles a year. 

As part of the new manufacturing process, every single component of every new Norton motorcycle will be evaluated in a new quality-testing laboratory to ensure the highest build quality. Within the laboratory are inspection rooms, testing areas including destruction testing and a rolling road. A customer reception and showroom, service workshop, and office are also housed at the new Headquarters. 

The Norton manufacturing facility has been engineered to be highly sustainable and to minimise waste. The result is an intelligently engineered solution using flexible components that mean that Norton Motorcycles can expand and evolve, within the new space. The build used numerous sustainable and rapid build techniques on the project, the components of which are almost 50% reconfigurable as a proportion of total construction cost – in order to increase special flexibility.

JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Limited (JBCPL) Records Revenue growth of 34% to INR 593 crores in Q2 FY22 Profit After Tax was up by 32% at INR 98 crores in Q2 FY22 

For the second quarter ended 30th September 2021, the Company recorded revenue of INR 593 crores as compared to INR 444 crores, registering a growth of 34% over the corresponding quarter ended 30th September, 2020. Operating EBITDA* (Earnings Before Interest Depreciation and Taxes) increased by 27% to INR 140 crores as compared to INR 110 crores. Adjusted EBITDA** increased by 40 % to INR 154 crores. Profit after Tax stood at INR 98 crores as compared to INR 74 crores registering growth of 32%.
