Zensar expands its City of San Diego relationship by winning a Multi-Year Contract
Zensar Technologies, a leading experience engineering and technology solutions company, announced it has signed a four year, multi-million-dollar contract with the City of San Diego for Workplace and Enterprise Compute Manage IT Services. The contract has the option of extension of two additional two-year terms with the total not to exceed the value of $122 million.

The new scope of agreement for Enterprise Compute (EC) Services will provide:
• Support for over 1,000 city servers and associated storage and software that host over
300 city application systems
• New public cloud support that will provide many new services such as improved
technology that supports departmental customer call centers, disaster recovery
capabilities, and data storage, with improved capability to host new applications quickly
and securely
• The new agreement for workplace services (WP) will provide:
o Service Desk Services to provide a central contact point for all IT services for
nearly 5,000 service desk calls each month
o End user device support for over 18,000 desktops, laptops, and printers
o Enhanced Mobile device support for about 6,000 city-owned devices and
employee-owned devices that have been critical during the pandemic
RDIF and Wockhardt partner to produce Sputnik V and Sputnik Light vaccines against COVID-19
The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF, Russia’s sovereign wealth fund), and Wockhardt Limited, a global pharmaceutical company headquartered in India, have partnered to produce and supply Sputnik V and Sputnik Light vaccines against COVID-19. The agreement was reached under the aegis of Enso Healthcare (part of Enso Group), RDIF's coordination partner for sourcing Sputnik V vaccines in India.
To date, the Sputnik V vaccine has been registered in 69 countries globally with a total population of over 3.7 billion people. The data obtained by regulators of a number of countries during the vaccination of the population, including Argentina, Serbia, Bahrain, Hungary, Mexico, San Marino, UAE and others, demonstrates that Sputnik V is one of the safest and most effective vaccines against coronavirus.
In particular, Sputnik V demonstrates 83.1% efficacy against the Delta variant of coronavirus - higher than many other vaccines. The vaccine shows 6 times reduction of infection risk. Sputnik V is also 94.4% effective against hospitalisations with 18 times reduction in hospitalisation risk.
Sputnik V is based on a proven and well-studied platform of human adenoviral vectors and uses two different vectors for the two shots in a course of vaccination, providing immunity with a longer duration than vaccines using the same delivery mechanism for both shots
Sputnik Light is the first component of Sputnik V and is based on human adenovirus serotype 26.

RELIANCE JIO CONCLUDES SPECTRUM TRADING AGREEMENT WITH BHARTI AIRTEL
Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd (“RJIL”) announced today that it has concluded the definitive Agreement entered with Bharti Airtel Limited for acquisition of right to use spectrum in the 800MHz band in Andhra Pradesh (2 x 3.75 MHz), Delhi (2 x 1.25 MHz) and Mumbai (2 x 2.5 MHz) circles through spectrum trading, which has been taken on record by DOT.
RJIL has paid total consideration of Rs 1,183.3 crores (inclusive of taxes) to Bharti Airtel and has assumed deferred payment liability with net present value of Rs 469.3 crores.
With this trading of right to use spectrum, RJIL will have 800 MHz band spectrum footprint of 2 x 15MHz in Mumbai circle and 2 x 10 MHz each in Andhra Pradesh and Delhi circles, thereby further enhancing network experience of its customers.

Zydus Cadila has received final approval from the USFDA to market Mesalamine Extended-Release Capsules
in the strength of 0.375 g, (US RLD: Apriso). Mesalamine Extended-Release capsules are indicated for the
maintenance of remission of ulcerative colitis in adults. The drug will be manufactured at the group’s
formulation manufacturing facility at the SEZ, Ahmedabad.
The group now has 320 approvals and has so far filed over 400 ANDAs since the commencement of the filing
process in FY 2003-04
Airtel and Jio conclude spectrum trading agreement
Bharti Airtel (“Airtel”) today announced the closure of its agreement with Reliance Jio Infocomm (“Jio”) to transfer the ‘Right to Use’ of Airtel’s 800 MHz spectrum in three circles to Jio.
Airtel has received Rs. 1004.8 crores (net of tax) from Jio for the proposed transfer. In addition, Jio will assume future liabilities of Rs. 469.3 crores relating to the spectrum.
