PNC Infratech bags yet another Hybrid Annuity Highway Project of Rs. 1602.0 crore
PNC Infratech Limited has been declared the L1 (lowest) bidder for a NHAI Project of 70.000 km long Four Laning of Unnao-Lalganj section of NH 232 A from km 0.000 to 70.000 in the state of Uttar Pradesh under NHDP IVB, to be executed on Hybrid Annuity Mode for a Bid Project Cost of Rs. 1602.0 crore. Four firms participated in the bidding and the price bids have been opened on Thursday, February 13, 2020, with PNC’s bid being the lowest (L1)
The project is to be constructed in 30 months and operated for 15 years post construction. This is the tenth hybrid annuity highway project secured by the company so far.
MAHINDRA AND MAHINDRA
Some media reports have recently appeared about Mahindra’s plans for SsangYong. As some of these reports could be misinterpreted, we are providing the following clarification.
The Board of SsangYong has approved a 3 years business plan which leads to profitability of the company in the year 2022. This plan requires outside funding of 450-500 billion KRW (USD 380 – 425 million) over a period of three years. About half of this amount is to repay the existing loan and the remaining is to augment the capex required for new product development. Funds required are expected to be generated by a combination of fresh bank loans, new investment and further equity investment by Mahindra. No equity proposal has been put up to the Mahindra Board of Directors as on date. A proposal will be presented to the Board and a decision will be made only after Mahindra management has vetted the plan and evaluated its feasibility.

Zydus receives final approval from the USFDA for Mesalamine Suppositories for rectal use, 1000 mg
Zydus Cadila has received the final approval from the USFDA to market Mesalamine Suppositories for rectal use, (US RLD - Canasa) I 000 mg. The drug is used to treat ulcerative proctitis, a type of bowel disease. It is an aminosalicylate anti-inflammatory drug and believed to work by blocking the production of certain natural chemicals that may cause pain and swelling. This will be manufactured at the group's Topical manufacturing facility at Ahmedabad.
The group now has 280 approvals and has so far filed over 386 ANDAs smce the commencement of the filing process in FY 2003-04.
